Dubrovnik

Had a good trip up to Cavtat with John and Ros, leaving Montenegro was very quick, Customs and passport control 10 mins amazing,  entering Croatia was a bit slower, it took us 20mins in the harbour to find the customs quay, harbour, wasn't very big, just not that obvious. A day trip to Dubrovnik by water taxi was quite something, a Medieval city which has been completely rebuilt since the war. Our next stop was a national park, at the top of Mljet, a little idyllic bay to leave the boat and go by bus and motor boat out to a monastery. We then headed back south to Cavtat via a small fishing port and bay on Lopud island.
Ros left us on Monday and John on Tuesday- it was great having them with us- hope they enjoyed the time as much as we did.  Ian and Cheryl joined us.on Tuesday for a wonderful week and left this morning. Their first night was unfortunately a bit rough at anchor and we had to move onto a mooring buoy at midnight - luckily it didn't put them off and hopefully they enjoyed the rest of the week. We went back to Dubrovnik by water taxi and saw more of the town. we then went back up to Polace via Lopud. Spent a lovely day cycling round the national park then back to Cavtat for them to get their transfers to the airport.
Will post more photos when we have the correct lead with us at wifi cafe!! Still hot and sunny here and just about warm enough in the water to go swimming. Saw several dolphins the other day - two mothers with babies.
