Bird house lights in Gocek town.
Fantastic Sunday market in Gocek
Making "crepes" but from rolled out dough not a batter - tasted great with honey and banana!
1st June in Turkey and look at the hailstones that came down in the thunderstorm!
Sitting by the open fire in Wall bay - not warmed up yet!
Wall bay - great spot. Looking very peaceful here but sailed in 41 knots of wind to get here.
Ros has joined us for 12 days which is great - lots of exploring to do. This is in Kalkan looking across the harbour to the town.
Singing for their supper!
Into Kas - another lovely little town - now the sun is out and really warmed up!
Moored at Nuri's beach outside Kas - amazing place - love the cushioned areas - very colourful, very Turkish.
From Kas onto the area known as Kekova Roads and into Ucagiz - very hopeful cats watching while the man is preparing fish in the stream!
Spent the day on a boat trip visiting places we couldn't get the yacht to - a really good day.
First stop was Kale Koy and a walk up to the castle and the tombs
Tomb walk - lots of sarcophagi along the hillside.
Massive stone tombs 3,000 years old and you could still clearly see the carving of lion's heads etc
Very colourful textiles on sale in the little back streets up to the castle.
One of the sarcophagi that is now in the water.
One of the swim stops and a turtle floats past for photo call.
Some skilful manoeuvring to get the front of the boat into the Blue Cave.
Lunch stop and Ros goes for a swim while the chicken is cooking on the BBQ at the back of the boat. Excellent buffet lunch included in day trip - £14 each for the trip.
Back via sunken city - lots of ruins along the coast and pots and ruins underwater seen through glass window in bottom of boat.
Back on shore for supper and traditional Turkish coffee.
Back to Nuri's beach - evening sun on the cliffs.
Now that is some red wine glass!
Breakfast time and the duck lays an egg behind the boat!
Evening light
Whoops - a bit out of order! This is the Lion Tomb in the centre of Kas.
Practising for the group in Finike.
"Love" the furniture at this cafe in Kalkan!
View from the boat in Kalkan. Lots of gullets for rent or day trips, minaret on the mosque in town from where they call the people to prayer several times a day.
