Has been quite a week!
Harry and Eimile left us on the 13th, was a really lovely few days so pleased they were able to join us. They then had a day in an hotel just south of Corfu, sounded really nice.

We have now been joined by John & Ros who have been fantastic in helping us get the boat up to croatia.

I just can't believe how difficult it was to clear passport control and customs, it took us 2 hours!!! We stayed on anchore over night and left at 05:00 hrs on a 33hr passage to get passed Albainia. We encountered a f5 head wind which slowed our progress, to a point where we decided to call in to Vlore in Albania, but by the time we had motor sailed to the entrance, the wind had dropped, and the sea calmed, so we decided to push on, and had a wonderful chicken in tarragon cream! maybe not the best of dishes to feed to queezy crew.

We arrived in Bar, Montenegro late afternoon on the 14th, customes / passport control was slightly better and we had checked in in an hour but managed to get caught for €63 over night mooring, which we then discovered had no facilities at all, so had to shower on the boat.

Kotor is the most amazing place, a walled city built on a cliff, with the highest point at 250 mtrs, which we all managed to climb early the following morning. The city is medieval and we spent the rest of the day walking around the city and visiting the maritime museum.

That evening we sailed to one of the very few anchorages, swimming and views are amazing but the miggies were nearly as bad as the Scottish ones. Early start tomorrow to get up to Cavtat in Croatia.
